Saturday 26th of May 2012 was no ordinary day here in Exeter. Not only was the sun blazing down on us. But we seen the Dark Knights terrace party’s back in style. There was a wicked review in The Guardians Guide magazine about the up and coming event (click here to see the review). The general feeling was that this event was going to go off.

Dark Knights masterminds Dizzit and Ramsey were at the Exeter Phoenix art centre from 3pm. Giving them lodes of time to make the terrace look and sound amazing. With it being free before 10pm then only £3 after that and with the weather there was very little reason not to go. With the best in summer vibes and wicked tech house music in the line up then it was no surprise to see people arriving to sit in the sun before the event had even started. Kicking things off we had the man that brings all the art work to the night and amazing resident DJ Ramsey. He always give a fine selection of Tribal Tech house to Umek style driving hands up Techno. Getting the crowed worked up from the start.

Up next was Viberfunk sadly only one of the duo could make it and he even had to give him self a push. To much sun and booze before an event is never a smart move haha. But this did not stop the young man better know as Saxon Denny. He pulled out a massive mix mash of Deep Tech to funky tech. As well as giving us a taste of what I know him better for his minimal bleep and Techno drive. Dark Knights looks forward to getting this young man back in some time.

Finishing it all off was birthday boy and god father of Dark Knights Dizzit. After his nice birthday sing song from the crowd couched on by bestest of friends and rite hand man Ramsey. He the launched an onslaught of up lifting tribal tech in to his 2 hour birthday set. As the set progressed he took it on a ride building to the point he was hitting the high driving, Heavy hitting dark and dirty Techno notes.

At the end of the night Ramsey and Dizzit were very much humbled by the amazing amount of love and thank you’s the crowed then gave them. Finnish off what was a truly amazing night.

We all look forward to the next one in June on the 30^th when Dark Knights will be doing there annual Day Lights to Dark Knights 12 hour terrace party. Starting at 2pm and finishing at 2am.
